Dunwoody Charter Commission Moves to Larger Meeting Place

The Dunwoody Charter Commission has chosen to secure another venue to accomodate the growing number of concerned citizens attending and speaking during the commission's regular meetings.

The Charter Commission meetings will now be held at 7 p.m. at 47 Perimeter Center East, Suite 400 (Conference Center), directly behind Dunwoody City Hall office building.

The schedule of the Charter Commission meetings can be found here on the City’s website.

The commission members have been meeting regularly since April to review the city's charter and create a report with any recommendations or changes to be presented to the Georgia General Assembly. So far, the commission has reviewed four of the charter's six articles.

According to a press release sent Friday from Dunwoody PR Director Bob Mullen, "All Charter Commission meetings are open to the public and citizen input is encouraged and desired on items contained in and pertaining to the city charter. Dunwoody residents may also reach out to the Charter Commission via email at charter.commission@dunwoodyga.gov."
