Malenka Warner Named Owner and Managing Director of Daybook Network

Dunwoody resident Malenka Warner is the new owner and Managing Director of Daybook Network (www.daybooknetwork.com), a local news distribution service with offices in Atlanta and Nashville.  A 30-year veteran of Atlanta’s broadcast, interactive marketing and public relations industries, Warner previously served as Vice President, Marketing and Strategy for What’s Up Interactive and Director of Sales Promotions for Turner Broadcasting.

            “Daybook Network is a key resource for any organization with a story to tell and for those reporting through traditional and digital media,” said Warner.  “In today’s world, you have to extend the impact of your story into the digital space, and Daybook Network provides public relations professionals with the tool to create that crucial digital ripple, along with strong search engine equity.”

            A graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Warner is a member of the Georgia Chapter of PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), AiMA (Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association) and TAG (Technology Association of Georgia).  She is also a certified and trained presenter for the GBI (Georgia Bureau of Investigation) Cyber Safety Initiative, teaching community groups about online safety and cyber bullying.  She is a graduate of the FBI Citizens Academy of Atlanta and past president of the FBI CAAA (Citizens Academy Alumni Association) of Atlanta.  Warner and her husband, broadcast journalist Richard Warner, live in Dunwoody, Ga., and have two grown daughters.
