Fox+Mattson, P.C. recently named Juliana Lorenzo as an associate attorney of the law firm. Ms. Lorenzo, a member of the Georgia Bar, will focus on estate and tax planning, probate proceedings, as well as provide legal counsel and services to businesses.
A native speaker of Portuguese with facility in Spanish and knowledge of French, she believes her language skills will help her provide services to the many international residents of Georgia.

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Ms. Lorenzo lived in Brazil until the age of 12 when her family moved to Florida. She attended the University of Florida and graduated cum laude with a B. A. in Political Science and Economics. She entered Emory University School of Law and graduated with honors in 2013.

At Emory School of Law, she served as Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal. She also earned several awards including the Dean’s Award for Torts, the Dean’s Award for Products Liability and the Pro Bono Project Certificate.
Ms. Lorenzo gained experience during law school as a Law Clerk for the American Civil Liberty Union of Georgia and through work as an intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, North District of Georgia, Appellate Division. Most recently she served as an apprentice in the Clayton County District Attorney’s Office in Clayton County, Georgia.
