Youfit Health Clubs is about to open its 8th new club in the Atlanta area.

Over the past year, Youfit has opened new clubs in Norcross (two), Kennesaw, Douglasville, Buford, Suwanee, and Roswell, and all are doing very well. Now the company’s opening its first club in DeKalb County, at 8725 Roswell Road in Dunwoody. And it’s now scouting additional locations in North Georgia.

With 73 clubs around the country, Youfit is now one of the fastest-growing fitness companies in America. The company operates a non-traditional business model in the tradition-bound health club industry.

“We’ve tried to offer a concept – and an experience – that’s much different than the usual health club,” says company Founder/President Rick Berks. “We’re geared to the average person who just wants to stay in shape, rather than bodybuilders or ‘gym rats.’ We don’t have long-term contracts…you pay month-to-month. We don’t have salespeople…so there’s no one pressuring you to join. And our goal is to have the Greenest clubs in America. For example, when you walk in, you’ll be walking on floors made of recycled tires or Nike ‘grind’ - recycled sneakers!”

These are clubs where “you” can “fit” in, without feeling uncomfortable, and without dealing with pushy salespeople. And the fees may be the lowest you’ll find for a first-class club.

“North Georgia has been our priority this past year,” Rick Berks says. “And we’re delighted with the way this region has responded to our concept.”
