Dunwoody resident joins Private Mortgage Solutions

Private Mortgage Solutions has named Dunwoody resident Brook Benton Vice President and Mortgage Banker. He brings over 18 years of industry experience to the bank.

“Realizing that every client is different, Brook prides himself on finding the right loan at the right time,” says Dan Smith, President of Private Mortgage Solutions. “He believes in building relationships with each of his clients by helping them evaluate all of their options. Before joining Private Mortgage Solutions, Benton was a founding partner and Loan Officer with BrightPath Mortgage. Previously he was a Loan Officer for Lenox Financial and a Home Equity Loan Manager and Vendor Relationship Manager with Prudential Bank & Trust.

“It is extremely important to have the right loan originator,” he says. “Someone who will guide clients through the process and not promise things that aren’t attainable. For me it’s more about providing customized mortgage services based on the wants and needs of each client. Also, I think it’s important that clients know that it’s not always about the lowest rate but what it will cost them to get that rate.”

Originally from Hampden, Mass., Benton moved to Atlanta in 1995 by way of the Florida Keys. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire where he majored in Communications and minored in Political Science. 

Benton believes in keeping a fit mind and body. He enjoys working out, biking, running and is an avid golfer. He had is first hole-in-one at the ripe old age of 13. He resides in Dunwoody with his wife and daughter. In his spare time he enjoys volunteering at his daughter’s school and watching pro football.
