Burr & Forman's Brown and Holt to Speak at Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta

Atlanta, May 13, 2014 Burr & Forman LLP is pleased to announce that Atlanta-based attorneys Edward Brown and Jefferson Holt will be speaking at the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta on June 3. Their presentation, entitled “Financial Policies and Procedures for Non-Profit Organizations,” will cover best practices for nonprofits to ensure that their financial resources are well-managed in order to achieve the organization’s objectives and bottom line.

 

The Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta is a local organization aimed at connecting a network of volunteer attorneys with nonprofits that are in need of business legal services. Since its inception in 2005, the Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta has assisted more than 600 nonprofit organizations with 3,000 different legal matters in a range of areas, including corporate governance, contracts and leases, employment, intellectual property and tax compliance. At Burr & Forman, Brown is a partner and chair of the firm’s Corporate and Tax practice.
