Two New Businesses Eye Dunwoody Buildings

Two new businesses are eyeing moves to Dunwoody.

Sunday night, plans for both businesses were passed around at the Dunwoody Homeowners Association meeting.

Representatives with Well Street Urgent Care showed plans Sunday night. The company is looking to move into the former Blockbuster Video building at 1575 Mt. Vernon Rd.

Well Street just opened a location in South Buckhead, and has plans to open four more Atlanta metro locations over the next five months, including in north Buckhead and Sandy Springs.

According to the company, urgent care centers provide walk-in healthcare service for the treatment of non-life-threatening medical events. WellStreet Urgent Care will offer extended office hours, 7-days a week.

Nearby, Marlow's Tavern has plans to open a new location along Dunwoody Village Parkway, the road that cuts through Dunwoody Village. The location would be in the same building as Calico Corners, near Goodyear.

Marlow's has eight locations already in the Atlanta metro area. The bar/restaurant serves up american-style bar food
