News Nearby: Health Inspection Violations at Cheesecake Factory

Nearby Dunwoody: An inspection at Cheesecake Factory in Buford received a failing grade.

The Cheesecake Factory in the Mall of Georgia area in Buford recently underwent a routine health inspection by the Gwinnett Health Department.

And the restaurant at 3333 Buford Drive, Space VD01G, received a "50/U" rating on Jan. 22. Among the violations noted were:

Violation of Code: [.05(7)(a)1 ] Found clean pans that had old food debris stuck to them, slicer blades had old food debris, dicer had old food debris on it. - Had manager clean items. Must keep food contact surfaces clean to sight and touch.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Violation of Code: [.03(5)(j)1&2 ] Multiple unapproved employee drinks throughout facility being used. Had manager discard drinks and use approved containers. Must use approved employee drink containers (single-use cup, lid, and straw)while working in kitchen area.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.

Violation of Code: [.04(6)(f) ] Multiple food items (see temp log) that were not being cold help properly. Had manager discard or cool items back down. Must cold hold food items at 41F or below.  Corrected On-Site.  New Violation.
