The large turnouts are perhaps due to the pizza joint’s presence on social networking sites. Restaurantnews.com says Uncle Maddio’s is all over Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare and other sites.
Marketing Director Cindy Wahl told the news site that it’s an intentional daily strategy to connect with and draw in customers.
Uncle Maddio’s opened in its first store in Atlanta, in 2009, and has since opened several franchises throughout the country.
