Last Minute Holiday Shopping at Macy's at Perimeter Mall
The New York-based department store will be open for 48 hours before Christmas.
Are you a Christmas shopper who always waits to the last minute? Looking to cash in on some really last minute Christmas deals?
Macy's at Perimeter Mall will be a part of a nationwide promotion - staying open around the clock from Dec. 21 to Dec. 23.
Yep, you heard that right. The chain will be open straight from 7 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21 to 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 23.

The special deals as part of the shopping marathon will end on 7 a.m. Dec. 23. But don't worry, if you're a really last, last-minute shopper the store will be open until midnight Sunday, just without the sales.
Richard Feinberg, a retail professor at Purdue University, told USA Today the move makes perfect sense.

"Contrary to popular belief, Black Friday is not and has never been the best shopping day of the holiday shopping season," he said. "That title usually belongs to the Saturday before Christmas."
