Kroger supermarkets issued a recall, Monday, on Bakery Mardi Gras King Cake Cinnamon. The item is sold in Dunwoody and four states, and may contain pecans not listed on the label, a statement said.

The pecans could cause a severe or life-threatening reaction to unaware consumers who are allergic to the nuts. For consumers who are not allergic to pecans, there is no safety issue with the product, according to the announcement.
