Great Escape Does Happy Hour: Daily Specials at Firebird Rotisserie & Sports

Looking to unwind at the end of a long day? For the next few weeks, the Great Escape column will feature local Dunwoody restaurants and their weekday drink and food specials. The feature continues with Firebird Rotisserie & Sports.

Tucked in the corner of the Perimeter Village Shopping Center next to Wal-Mart, emerges as a hidden sports bar gem. With numerous televisions, even some in booths, Firebird is a great place to catch the game and unwind after a long day. Feast on wings, chili, salad, chicken, shrimp, sandwiches, sliders, burgers, pizza, and even, deep fried cheesecake.

Specials abound for every day of the week at Firebird. Start the week off with their “Gotta Case of the Mondays” specials featuring $3.50 draft beers and $4 Jager shots. Also, after 10 p.m., get $5 cheese pizzas. Tuesday is trivia night with 7 p.m. Team Trivia and $5 Jack Daniels cocktails.  Pitcher Perfect Wednesdays features pitchers of Bud, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Miller Light, Yuengling and Yuengling Light — for only $7.75 or $2 a pint. Thursday is Ladies Night with half-off appetizers, $1 Michelob Ultra, $3 Blue Moon and $4 3-Olives Vodka Drinks.

Drink away the weekday blues with $5.94 frozen cocktails all day Friday. There’s also Rush Hour Team Trivia at 6:30 p.m. and DJ Jaeger playing old school jams from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Weekends at Firebird highlight Saturdays with $2.95 select draft beer and Karaoke for 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday Funday features all draft beer for $3.50, $3 Mimosas and $4 Bloody Marys.
