Grab & Go Kids Planner - Look at the Stars

Get out & about with your family and explore what Dunwoody has to offer this weekend.

  • Dunwoody Sr. Baseball Fall League Registration

Where/When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday at , Field House.

Why go: Walk in registration for The DSB Fall Baseball league will be held this Saturday and next Saturday at the Field House at Dunwoody Park. Online registration is also available. DSB is recreational baseball that's open to all players from 13 to 18years of age.

  • Observatory Open House 

When/Where: 9 p.m., Saturday at  Observatory

Why go:
View the night sky through GPC Dunwoody's observatory.The observatory opens after sunset (about 9 pm) with the best viewing time about an hour after the sun sets - please arrive before 10 pm. On busy evenings, more telescopes are set up outside on the viewing pad.

How much:
Free.

  • DeKalb County PTA’s and DCSS 5K Run/Walk

When/Where: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday at 2817 Clifton Springs Rd, Decatur (Panthersville Stadium)

Why go: Join the DeKalb County Council of PTA's and DCSS for food, fellowship, games, health screenings, races, fire safety vehicles, Kids Play Zone, Special Olympians Challenge Zone, car seat checkups and replacements, health discussions with professionals, step shows, free sports physicals and more. Baby Stroller and Wheelchair participants welcome.

  • Storytime with Miss Caitlin

Why go: Children 5-years-old and younger can enjoy stories and crafting with Miss Caitlin. Books and crafts change each week.

  • Infant/Child CPR

When/Where:  12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at , 5780 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd NE

Why go: This class will cover the basics of CPR, (for both infant and children 1 through 8 years old) and will also include choke-saving skills, home safety and other injury prevention measures.
