As we all know, family life can get pretty busy. This weekly feature lays out a variety of family activities in Dunwoody, all ranging in price, age range, and interest.



When/Where: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Half price sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Half price sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at 4776 Ashford Dunwoody Rd Suite B (Ashford Place Shopping Center)

Why go: The Rhea Lana Consignment Sale is a bi-annual (1 week in Fall and Spring) consignment sale event of children's clothes, shoes, toys, books, DVDs, baby items, gently used maternity clothes and much, much more.

How much: Free admission.


When/Where: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at , 5035 Vermack Rd.

Why go: Calling All Girls to Dunwoody High School Wildcat Gymnastics’ fun-filled mini-camp fundraiser. Girls can practice with the DeKalb County Champion Wildcat gymnasts on all four stations: floor, beam, bars, and vault! They will work with the talented Wildcat team and perform a routine for their parents by the end of the session. This event is for 5-14 year olds and no experience is required. Includes: DHS Gymnastics T-shirt, snack, and craft.

How much: $30. Register early by sending a check payable to Dunwoody High School to: Ms. Cassandra Watkins or Ms. Kerry Brown, 5035 Vermack Road, Dunwoody, Georgia 30338. Please include gymnast's name, age, and t-shirt size. You will need to sign a release form at drop-off. You may also register at the door.


When/Where: 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the , 5342 Tilly Mill Rd

Why go: At the MJCCA preschools, you'll find: loving, highly trained and experienced teachers; a stimulating and enriching curriculum; special programs that embrace judaics, music, the arts, and sports; and a community for your whole family! Learn about the curriculum, schedules, specials, and the amazing staff that will teach and love your child. Talk with our Preschool Administrative Team and take a tour of our amazing facility!

When/Where: 7 p.m. Monday at , 4576 N Peachtree Rd.

Why go: This informative event will give families a chance to see the school, meet the administration and hear about the wonderful programs Chesnut Charter has to offer.

How much: Free.


When/Where: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the , 5342 Tilly Mill Rd

Why go: Families and children (ages 1-8) are invited to celebrate Purim at our Family Masquerade Dance Party. Dress up and dance the day away with Vibe Entertainment, enter the costume contest, and win prizes. Amazing airbrush face painting, pizza, and hamentashen dessert are all included. Dancing, dinner, dessert, & more.
