Five Things to Do This Weekend (Dec. 16-18)

1, Finish your Christmas shopping. Dunwoody has many small business retailers for your holiday gift buying, as well as the Perimeter Mall and there’s always the Spruill Gallery holiday Artist Market, which is open at the Spruill Gallery from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday. Perimeter Mall has special holiday hours through Christmas Day. The mall will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Monday through next Friday. Sunday the mall will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The mall is also hosting photos with Santa.

2, Celebrate Hanukkah. Among the local events are the Family Hanukkah Celebration Saturday night at 6:45 p.m. at , which will feature Israeli dancing, latkes, sufganiot, dreidles, make your own Menorah, games music and a raffle. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children. RSVP by phone. You can also celebrate at the . The event, put on by the MJCCA, Ahavath Achim Synagogue, The Epstein School Intown and The Weinstein School, will be held at the . Chanukah Pajamakah will include children's stories, songs, crafts, a special Dreidel spinning competition, Hanukkah treats and more.

3. Celebrate Christmas at the , a show put on by the . The show features Greater Visions's Gerald Wolfe, comedian and ventriloquist Taylor Mason, Taylor Crews, and more special guests, The Fifth Annual First Family Christmas will include hymns, carols, humorous vignettes, choral movements and orchestral selections--including some Christmas classics and new renditions. There are performances Saturday at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. and . Tickets are $4 for adults and free for children.

4. Catch on of the last shows of ‘The Producers.’ The first production put on the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta’s newest theater group, : Thursday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. The show's story centers on struggling Broadway producer Max Bialystock and mousy accountant Leo Bloom, who hatch a scheme to get rich by producing Broadway’s biggest flop

5. Teach your children about business. Saturday at 11 a.m. puts on a to help youth learn about basic business concepts and how to write mini grants for youth business. The event is free and lasts until 1 p.m.
