Five Things: Music, Makeovers and More

Five Things to do This Weekend (July 22-24)

1.Β Jessi Lynn, nominated for 13 Grammys as a musician and songwriter, will be from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

Lynn will put on two 45-minute sets, each with a 30-minute intermission. There will be snacks, as well as beer and wine.

There is a suggested donation of $8 per person at the door.

2. Learn about the ancient art of Henna. Bindu Malbari, a Henna artist, will be from 1 to 3 p.m. The class is aimed at teens ages 13-17 years old.

3. Collect the kids and learn how to play Pickle Ball. Saturday morning at 11 a.m. – a game that combines ping-pong, tennis and badminton.

4. Get a makeover. Friday and Saturday from noon to 8 p.m. The makeovers will take place in a mobile salon that will be parked in the parking lot on the east side of Perimeter Mall, next to Ashford Dunwoody Road.

5. Pool Party! for families at the pool. The event will feature blogger and author Sue Rodman. Families are encouraged to bring picnic dinners, though hotdogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks will be available for purchase. The party starts at 4:30 p.m. and runs until 6:30 p.m.
