Shabbat BBQ and Pool Party at the MJCCA

FRIDAY, AUGUST 5
SOUTHERN-STYLE SHABBAT BBQ and POOL PARTY at the MJCCA
4:00 pm – Open Swim
5:00 pm – Children’s Shabbat “Sing-a-Long”
6:00 pm – Shabbat Songs and Blessings by the Pool

You are invited to a Southern-style Shabbat BBQ at the MJCCA’s (Zaban) pool. Open swim begins at 4:00 pm featuring a children’s Shabbat “sing-a-long” at 5:00pm. At 6:00pm, we welcome Shabbat as Rabbi Glusman leads us in Sabbath songs and prayers. A special blessing will be offered for all who are celebrating birthdays and anniversaries during the month of August.  The pool will remain open until 8:00 pm. Open to both members and non-members.
 
Bring your own picnic dinner or purchase delicious food directly from Goodfriend’s Mobile Grill which will be open until 7:15 pm. Bring folding chairs and/or blankets to sit on the lawn. Free ice pops for all children!

Menu includes: barbecue sandwiches, pulled chicken and beef, coleslaw, drinks, dessert and more.
