Dunwoody's New Chick-fil-A Opens Thursday

Dozens of people were in line Thursday morning for a chance to win a year's worth of chicken sandwiches.


Dozens of people camped outside Dunwoody's newest fast-food restaurant on Thursday morning, as Chick-fil-A held its official grand opening at its Jett Ferry Road location.

CBS Atlanta reported people had started camping outside the restaurant on Wednesday, as the company was offering its first 100 customers a year's supply of free Chick-fil-A sandwiches.

Grant Wells is the operator of the new Chick-fil-A. A New Zealand native, Wells is relocating from a Chick-fil-A in Rome which he has operated since 2007.

The restaurant features dual drive-thru ordering lanes. The new Chick-fil-A in Dunwoody is one of 102 new restaurants the chain plans to open across the country in 2013, creating more than 6,200 new jobs.
