U.S. Sen. Johnny Isakson will be the featured speaker at the gala and yearly members' meeting from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. The meeting will be held at Dunwoody Terraces South.

The guest speaker seems to be a good fit for Dunwoody's business leaders.

“Johnny Isakson is a businessman, a public servant, and family man whose common-sense approach and conservative values have made him a leader in Georgia for over 30 years.”

He has a distinguished career in politics. He has represented Georgia in Congress for 13 years, first in the U.S. House of Representatives and in the Senate since 2004.

“As a former business owner, ... Isakson has an excellent understanding of the issues facing business owners and leaders today. We look forward to learning more about how November’s elections will impact business in 2013 and beyond," said Chamber Executive Director Debbie Fuse.

More than 120 business professionals, community leaders, and political officials are expected to attend the gala.
