CAC Looks for Food in Summer Doldrums in Dunwoody Sandy Springs

Basics: like toothpaste and canned goods are needed. Throw In PB & J for a real treat.

The Community Action Council is asking for emergency food donations in emergency times.

The food pantry is in critical need of food. For families in Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, summer months leave them hungrier and food supplies dry up as people are busy with other things, say officials.

Most needed items: Canned vegetables: green beans, peas, mixed, potatoes; peanut butter, jelly, rice, tomato sauce, baked beans, cereal,toothpaste, paper towels.
