Blooms of Dunwoody Helps Beautify Elementary School Entrance

The florist and school volunteers planted new flower beds at Chesnut Charter Elementary School.

Last weekend, local florist Blooms of Dunwoody, worked with volunteers from Chesnut Charter Elementary School's Wellness Committee to beautify the school’s front entrance by donating new flower beds and moved existing shrubs into locations where they will grow better.

“Many of our friends and neighbors have children at Chesnut and the parents are so actively involved in volunteerism that it inspired us to want to help too,” said Blooms co-owner, Suzanne Conreaux, in an announcement.

Blooms of Dunwoody is located in the heart of Dunwoody Village Shopping Center (next to Cutie Pies and Brittany Bridal).

In addition to offering floral arrangements and full-service flower delivery throughout North Atlanta, Blooms of Dunwoody also offers patrons a wide selection of blooming plants and decorative interior gardens.

“We hope people realize we are more than just a cut flower shop,” Conreaux said. “Our mission is to find ways to deliver joy and inspiration through a variety of nature-based gifts and botanicals. And while landscaping is not our core focus, the Chestnut project feeds our passion to get more involved in the community. We happy to be a part of it and look forward to supporting the school for years to come.”
