Detours Planned During Closure of Interchange
Ashford Dunwoody Road at !-285 will be closed late Friday through early Monday, with detours for people exiting and entering I-285.
Dunwoody's highest-trafficked intersection at Ashford Dunwoody Road and I-285 will be closed for the weekend.
Technically, the intersection closes after the commute Friday - at 9 p.m. through pre-commute on Monday - at 5 a.m.
Take a look at the detours included in this article. The bridge will be closed, and temporary exit and entrance to the interstate will start at Ashford Dunwoody Road and Hammond Drive.

Construction during the weekend closure will include removal of asphalt, construction of a pedestrian walkway, paving, restriping and installation of traffic signals.
The bridge is scheduled to be operational by June 4, with continun construction through the summer.
