The Magic Room is a nonfiction narrative set in a small-town Michigan bridal shop, and looks at the lives of a handful of brides (and their parents) who've journeyed to the store's ‘Magic Room,’ according to the MJCCA.

Zaslow is a columnist at the Wall Street Journal and the co-author of the bestseller The Last Lecture, which he co-wrote with Randy Pausch.

It will be Zaslow’s third appearance at the community center.

Gupta has won multiple Emmys for his work with CNN. He’s a practicing neurosurgeon. Monday mornings is his third book.

His talk will be part of a special "Upfront & Unscripted" program featuring CNN Senior Medical Correspondent Elizabeth Cohen, the MJCCA said in a press release.
