1. Register and run in . Registration is open until Friday at 3 p.m. (if the race doesn’t reach capacity you can register race day between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m.). The day starts with a fun run at 8 a.m., a 10k at 8:30 a.m., a 5k at 8:30 a.m., the Tot Trot at 9:45 a.m. and awards at 10 a.m.

The race benefits St. Luke’s Youth Missions and outreach partners. It starts at . There’s also a pre-race pasta dinner Friday. Register for the dinner here.

2. Buy a book, support the library. The Friends of Dunwoody Library is holding a book sale Thursday through Monday, with approximately 25,000 books for sale at the .

• Thursday - Members Only 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Open to all 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

• Friday and Saturday – 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

• Monday - 10 a.m. 8 p.m. (Bag Day, Buy a bag for $6 and fill it up!)

 

3. Give blood. The American Cross is Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at . You can schedule your appointment here (sponsor code: dunwoodyumc) or call 770-394-0675.

 

4. View memories and history through quilts. The Spruill Education Center’s Winter Exhibit features work in all mediums by students and instructors. The exhibit is open every day at the .

 

5. Learn how to collect maple syrup at a at the . The class is from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Visitors will learn how to identify different trees, how maple syrup is collected and made and take part in a taste test. Advanced registration is required, tickets are $4 for members and $6 for non-members.
