Tree Hug Festival

Bring the whole family out to join Dunwoody Nature Center for their Tree Hug Festival!

Peter “Treeman” Jenkins and his team from Tree Climbers International, Inc., will be leading climbs in two of the Nature Center's climbing trees.  Tree climbing will be limited to 88 climbers so reserve your spot online in advance (click on Buy Tickets below) NO LATER THAN October 12th at 4:00pm. Any un-reserved climbs will be available on a first-come, first served basis on the day of the event.  If you miss the opportunity to climb the trees, visitors will also have the opportunity to test their skills at climbing a 30' rock wall.

Families will also enjoy Raptors on display and flight shows presented by EarthQuest, musical entertainment from Lori Linden, discovery stations to explore throughout the event, and “Natural History and Tree Identification" walks through the trails with National Park Service Ranger, Jerry Hightower.
