Clint Eastwood Movie in Dunwoody About to Launch

Movie trailer was recently released from the film that was partly filmed at Dunwoody High School. You see something you recognize? Let us know in comments.

It's not a secret that legendary actor Clint Easwoodt was in Dunwoody filming his upcoming movie, "Trouble With the Curve," this spring.

And here's a first glimpse at the flick. City Councilman John Heneghan first posted the official movie trailer clip (attached below) on his prolific blog which reports on all the goings-on around Dunwoody.

The movie trailer looks promising, but - full disclosure - I'm a sucker for Eastwood movies. For instance, Gran Torino, despite what loud detractors say, has real heart in my opinion and is a deeply American story.

According to the people who met him, Eastwood bucked the big Hollywood star persona while he was in Dunwoody, which helped spread his reputation as a normal guy.

The Carmel, Calif. resident also signed a bunch of baseballs for Dunwoody PD and took pictures with law enforcement. The baseballs he signed were then auctioned and the proceeds donated to a children's charity to help the Special Olympics in the state. How cool is that?

In the trailer for "Trouble with the Curve," you get glimpses of Eastwood's character, an aging baseball scout who's career is on the wane, but who is trying to connect with his daughter, Amy Adams. Justine Timberlake is in the film as well as a love interest for Adams, it seems.

But as good these actors are, we've see them countless times. Maybe the most funΒ  thing about the trailer is trying to catch a glimpse of some hometown landmarks.

And I'm not sure, but one of the backdrops late inΒ  the trailer could be the Dunwoody High School baseball field, one of the filming locations. What do you think
