Downed trees caused a mess this morning as commuters found themselves caught in traffic due to stormy conditions.

The Dunwoody Police Department said on its Facebook page Tuesday morning that trees on Tilly Mill Road and Trumball Drive, among other locations, were causing heavy traffic as responders worked to remove them.

The announcement also noted that several traffic lights were out in the area. Drivers are asked to treat affected intersections as four-way stops.
