Pet of the Week

Teddy is a gentle Mastiff mix

A weekly staple here on Dunwoody Patch is Pet of the Week. It features a dog, that’s being fostered right here in town, that’s ready for adoption.

This dog's name is Teddy, also known as Big Boy Teddy. He’s a fawn colored Mastiff mix and weighs about 70 pounds.

The dog’s size might intimidate people, but he’s described as a gentle dog. He is crate trained and gets along well with other dogs. Teddy is up to date on his shots and he’s neutered. He has been dewormed and is undergoing heartworm treatment.

Teddy needs a foster home or a permanent one. If you would consider either adopting, fostering, or contributing a few dollars towards vetting Teddy or one of his fellow rescue dogs, please contact: Hannah Wildner at hmwildner@comcast.net or (770) 451-3809.

The organization that rescues these dogs is headed by Wildner and is called Mercy for Georgia's Homeless Pets. The group rescues animals from rural high-kill facilities in the state.
