A weekly fixture here on Dunwoody Patch features a local dog, right here in Dunwoody, that you can adopt.
This week’s pet that is looking for a home is Polly Pocket. She's a miniature yellow lab, also known as a pocket lab. She is about 20 pounds, is a young adult, and has had a litter of puppies.
Polly is house trained, is being crate trained, is not destructive, loves to take walks, gets along well with other dogs, and – maybe most of all – loves the kids of the home she’s fostered in.

Polly was rescued the morning that she was going to be euthanized from a high-kill facility in Clayton County. All of Polly's basics, like shots and spaying, have been taken care of and she is heart worm negative.
You can see more photos of Polly and other pets up for adoption here.
