Northside Hospitals Recognized as Top Performers by Leading Accreditor

The Joint Commission, the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America recognized Northside Hospital nearby Dunwoody in Sandy Springs, Cherokee and Forsyth for exemplary performance.

Northside Hospital-Atlanta, Northside Hospital-Cherokee and Northside Hospital-Forsyth each have been named Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission (TJC), the leading accreditor of health care organizations in America.
  
The three hospitals were recently recognized by TJC for exemplary performance in using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown to improve care for heart failure, pneumonia and surgical care.

“Our employees and physicians are committed to offering the safest quality care and positive patient outcomes,” said Bob Quattrocchi, president and CEO, Northside Hospital, in a statement. “On the heels of other recognitions for quality that Northside has recently achieved, this distinction from The Joint Commission is further proof of their hard work.”

TJC recognizes accredited hospitals that attain and sustain excellence in accountability measure performance. The Northside hospitals are among 1,099 hospitals in the nation being recognized for 2012 (the most recent report), representing the top 33 percent of TJC-accredited hospitals.
