MJCCA Will Spin To Raise Money for Charity

The event Dec. 9 is an annual fundraiser that will raise money for the Special Olympics.

The "Spin Studio" at the Marcus Jewish Community Center is taking part in the charity event "Cycle for Good" to raise money for the Special Olympics.

On Dec. 9, jewish community centers across the U.S. will be riding for the event from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The yearly event is open to people who want to raise money for charity, with restrictions. There's a minimum contribution of $25 per hour per rider. You can rent a bike by the hour or ride for the three-hour event. Bring two friends to share in the three-hour ride.
