MJCCA Plans a Family Fun Day for Christmas Day

Ping pong, pick-up basketball and a movie are free at the annual family fun-day.

Looking for something that’s open on Christmas? The Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta is having an annual fun-day that’s family-friendly.

The fun-day runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. free of charge. The day starts off with a family concert of “The Baal Shem Tones” led by Helene and Michael Kates.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. inflatables will be set up in Blank Gym. Other fun activities include table tennis, basketball, open swim in the indoor pool and the Sophie Hirsch Srochi Discovery Center

From 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the cneter plans to play a family-friendly movie at the Morris and Rae Frank Theater.

“It’s such a pleasure seeing all of the families that come back to the MJCCA each year on December 25 to bounce, swim, dance, and eat together. We invite the community to come, and bring your friends and neighbors to enjoy the fun as well,” said Gail Luxenberg, CEO of the MJCCA.
