It's Not Too Late to Donate to Charities for Christmas
"Georgia Gives Day" was last week but you can still donate to local charities, like the Dunwoody Nature Center.
Last week, officials designated Tuesday "Georgia Gives Day" as a way of encouraging to give to their local charities.
So far the state has tallied $800,000 in donations to sponsored charities. One of those charities is the Dunwoody Nature Center, which has received $285 as part of the effort.
Still want to help? You can. Although last week was the big push, visit the donation website and you can still help out the local nature center or othe charities.
