Interchange Construction Wrapping Up

The contractor for Georgia DOT plans to do a few more improvements at I-285 and Ashford Dunwoody before removing the orange barrels from the intersection.

The orange barrels are still hanging around the new diverging diamond interchange at I-285 and Ashford Dunwoody Road, but work there is expected to wrap up soon, according to officials with the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts.

The contractor is is expected to wash, paint and seal the bridge walls and median walls Friday night and this weekend. Some lane closures will be a part of the work.

A fence will also be installed on both sides of the pedesterian bridge, which runs down the middle of the intersection.
