Five Things to Do This Weekend (Feb. 18-21)

Baseball, music and theater are on tap this weekend

Welcome to "Five Things You Need to Know for the Weekend," a Dunwoody Patch column that sifts through the long list of events competing for your time to offer our pick of five things worth doing with your time off.

1. Hear great choral music. Coro Vocati, a group of professional singers will be at the Dunwoody United Methodist Church on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m.

The group sings music from contemporary composers from North and South America, as well as folk songs. There is a $10 suggested donation.

2. The bats of spring begin cracking Friday night at , as the Dunwoody Wildcats baseball team opens the season against North Cobb High School at 5:55 p.m.

3. Enjoy local theater. its run at the Stage Door Players Theater. With shows at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. Sundays. For tickets, call 770-396-1726.

4. Drink a little wine. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, there are .

Tasings are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, noon to 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays.

5. Help kick off the young adult ministry program with a concert at All Saints Catholic Church.

The church is hosting an event of music, fellowship and community building for adults ages 18 to 40. The night will feature songwriter and music liturgist Matt Longshore & InResponse.

The event is Friday at All Saints Catholic Church, with doors opening at 7:30 p.m. There is a suggested donation of $10, and childcare is available for young children.
