Five Things to Do This Weekend (April 1-3)

Sunshine, baseball, plays and yard sales

1. Get out. The sun will come out tomorrow… most likely. So after a week of dark clouds, rain and cold temperatures, embrace the spring, at least through Monday. The weekend should be clear and dry, with highs in the low to high 70s, according to weather.com.

2. Pay homage to a great American playwright. Dunwoody United Methodist Church’s Drama Group will be putting on several of Tennessee Williams’ one-act plays this weekend. Friday and Saturday starting at 7 p.m. and Sunday starting at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door.

3. Aaaay! The Fonz and the Cunninghams are back, at least on stage, for based on the television series. The musical, an adaptation of the Broadway show, is put on by the Jerry’s Habima Theater, the state’s only theatrical company directed and produced by professionals featuring actors (aged 18 and up) with developmental disabilities. Tickets are $32 for adults, $12 for children and for members of the MJCCA, tickets are $22 for adults, $8 for children. Shows this weekend are at 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

4. Watch the Wildcat 9 play ball. The team takes the field Friday evening at’s field against Redan. The game starts at 6 p.m. The team is off to a great start, going 10-4 so far.

5. Go to the yard sale at , which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the congregation, 5227 Tilly Mill Rd.
