Five Things to Do Sept. 23-25: Football, Fine Arts and Car Shows

Welcome to "Five Things You Need to Know for the Weekend," a Dunwoody Patch column that sifts through the long list of events competing for your time to offer our pick of five things worth doing with your time off.

1. Support the Dunwoody Wildcat football team, twice. The team (1-2) takes on Lakeside (0-4) , 2415 N Druid Hills Rd NE. Admission is free. Saturday morning, at 8 a.m., at the Dunwoody High School cafeteria. The breakfast costs $6.

2. Help the Special Olympics of Georgia at the . The show is Saturday starting at 9 a.m. and runs until 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Atlanta. There is a silent auction, a raffle and an opportunity to get photos with a Lamborghini. Registration for each vehicle is $20.

3. Buy second hand children’s clothing, toys, books and baby equipment. Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Money from the sale goes to Kingswood missions and programs.

4. Stock up your library. runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Dunwoody Public Library.

5. Head to the theater.  The Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The Saturday and Sunday (two shows). Saturday, Dunwoody High School officially .
