Dunwoody Nature Center To Dedicate Retaining Wall, Rain Garden

The dedication will be held Friday, March 22, at 3 pm.


The Dunwoody Nature Center, city of Dunwoody and Oldcastle will hold a dedication ceremony at the Dunwoody Nature Center (DNC) marking the construction of a new retaining wall and enhanced rain garden.

Inspired by the DNC’c mission and seeing this need within the community, Oldcastle reached out to DNC to show its dedication to the betterment of the community.

Representatives from the DNC, Oldcastle and the city will be on hand to formally dedicate the newly completed retaining wall and discuss the benefits of corporate, city and community partnership.

Presenters include Dunwoody Mayor Michael G. Davis, Dunwoody Nature Center Director Alan Mothner, Oldcastle Chief Executive Officer Mark Towe and Chief Operations Officer Doug Black.

A series of volunteer activities will run from 10 am to 2 pm, and the dedication ceremony will be held at 3 pm.
