Dunwoody Native to Appear on Wheel of Fortune Friday
Megan Mattei, who now lives in Henderson, La. will be a contestant on game show
Dunwoody native Megan Mattei will be a contestant on this Friday's Wheel of Fortune.
Mattei, who now lives in Jefferson, La., is 2000 graduate of Dunwoody High School. She said she's a long time fan of Wheel of Fortune.
"I've always wanted a chance to be on the show," she said, in a Wheel of Fortune contestant video. "Me and my brother always competed every night at dinnertime."

Mattei, who has been married to her husband Erich for almost five years, is a stay at home mother of one, according to a show spokeswoman. The couple is expecting their second child soon, Mattei said.
"If I pick up some big money, I would spend it on my child's education, I've got one on the way," she said. "I would go on a trip and I would buy a house."

She'll be appearing on a special edition of the show from New Orleans – the show is taping in New Orleans for three weeks, according to a show spokeswoman. Mattei's appearance comes during 'Fabulous Food Week,' which is dedicated to the cuisine in New Orleans.
Mattei tried out for the show at a Wheelmobile event in New Orleans.
The show airs Friday night at 7 p.m. on WATL, channel 36.
