Dunwoody hosts Arbor Day event

The city's arborist will participate

The city of Dunwoody is celebrating Friday’s upcoming Arbor Day in a practical way.

To help local homeowners preserve their trees, Howard Koontz, Dunwoody’s arborist, will lead an instructional clinic.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, attendees can learn about proper tree care and seeds that can be cultivated.

The event will be held at City Hall.
