The fruit orchard will expand the popular community garden. Community garden members posted a rough layout of where the orchard would be planted, and the early sketches show the trees ringing the raised garden beds already cultivated there.

According to the diagram, pear trees, apple trees and plum trees would be added, as well as raspberry and blackberry brambles and blueberry bushes.

Dunwoody Community Garden members are calling people who supported them in the online voting to come out for a group photo Tuesday night.

"Please come to the garden tonight at 6pm for a group photo celebrating our win. If you have been voting we'd love to have you in the photo. If you haven't, just come anyway. See you then," according to a post on their Facebook page.
