Author in town for book series

Dr. Sanjay Gupta to talk Monday about his book "Monday Mornings" at the Marcus Jewish Community Center

The Marcus Jewish Community Center is hosting Dr. Sanjay Gupta Monday as part of its “Page from the Book Festival” that brings in national authors to talk about their works.

The series runs through May and includes dates with two other authors.

Gupta will talk at 7:30 p.m. about his book “Monday Mornings,” a novel focusing on five surgeons in a Chelsea, New York hospital who have to analyze the success or failure of their work every week. It’s described as a “peek behind the curtain into what is considered the most secretive meeting in all of medicine.”
