Power Home Remodeling Group in Dunwoody, GA Raises Money In Support Of Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation

The third annual "Power Month" occurred last month in June to support Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF), a leading foundation for pediatric cancer research. During this company-wide initiative  Power's local office in Dunwoody, GA hosted a series of events and fundraisers, including the office lemonade stand to help contribute to the cause.

As part of Power Month for Alex’s, employees hosted lemonade stands in the office and throughout their neighborhoods and volunteered their time at local children’s hospitals, spending valuable time with children and families affected by cancer. In addition, Power’s presence at big-box retailers and home shows throughout June included signage and information about Power Month, as well as an opportunity for shoppers to donate directly to the cause.

As a whole, the company raised more than $120,000 for cancer research last month, making this their most successful "Power Month" ever. Since being named a national corporate sponsor for ALSF in April 2011, Power has raised more than $350,000 for the Foundation to date.
