The Townsend family - Family of the Month (March)

Primrose School of Dunwoody selects the Townsend family as the Family of the Month for March!

The Townsend Family shares their Primrose experience:

“We believe a love for learning starts young, which is why quality early childhood education is important to our family.  Primrose of Dunwoody has been critical in starting that spark for Carter (3) and Clara (1), both of whom started attending at 12 weeks old.  Carter has thrived in each classroom from the infant room up to pre-school under the caring and loving teachers.  In the Pre-school 1 classroom, Carter was able to show his fearlessness as the Ginger Bread Boy in the holiday program.  Clara’s growing independent streak as she has learned to walk, and possibly well before, has been nurtured by the infant room teachers.

Michael, a microbiologist at the CDC, and Leah, the Corporate Reporting Manager at SWM, are eager to introduce some of our favorite outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and skiing to Carter and Clara; in fact, Carter will don skis for the first time later this month!  Otherwise, we do what we can for now with training wheels and backpack carriers.  We worried that having kids would also limit another favorite activity, traveling to see new places.  Thankfully, we have still managed a few trips to Colorado to see family and old friends, a visit to California to see the Golden Gate Bridge and the redwood forest (big trees!), continued regular visits to our home state of North Carolina (go Heels!), and have as well explored Georgia and metro-Atlanta.  We plan to continue expanding Carter and Clara’s horizons as they grow and hope to instill in them not only a love for learning, but also a desire to live life while learning.  In that sense, Primrose of Dunwoody has been a great match for us.”  Michael, Leah, Carter, Clara, and Mocha

Congratulations to the Townsend Family!
