Meet our Family of the Month; A Trusted Partnership with Parents

Primrose School of Dunwoody selects the Midyette family as the Family of the Month for June!

“Thank you Primrose School of Dunwoody, for the great honor to have been selected “Family of the Month” of June 2014!

We are the Midyette family, Bob, Yanick, Hayden (4) and Morgan (2).
Our family relocated from Miami FL, to the Atlanta area in Fall 2013.  We are fond of Dunwoody where we live, work, play, and are planting our roots.

Bob studied Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island, followed by a BS in Hospitality Management and a MBA from Florida International University in Florida.  He loves to read and enjoys great wine.  He also enjoys cooking, and the family doesn’t miss an opportunity to put his skill and passion to work.  Bob directs Corporate Beverage Operations
for the Americas at the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG).

Yanick received a BS in Mass Communication and Journalism from Florida International University and a MBA from University of Miami.  She is fluent in French and Spanish.   She is a passionate tennis player and a member of “USTA” and “ALTA”.  Yanick is a Regional Relationship Manager with Fidelity Investments.

Bob and Yanick met in Miami, FL in 2006 and married in 2008.  Their first daughter, Hayden was born in June 2010 and their second daughter Morgan was born in May 2012.  There has not been a dull moment!

Hayden is a curious, spirited, helpful and loving bundle of joy and a great big sister!  She is passionate about singing, reading books and baking cupcakes and cookies with mommy.  Hayden’s favorite phrase is “I want a snack”, you’ll hear it as she is eating a meal.

Morgan is loving and affectionate, and she loves to cuddle.   She likes to play with her dolls and enjoys time at the playground.  Her independence and increasing vocabulary impresses us every day.  Morgan will try any food before claiming she does not like it.  She loves to sing the song “Let it go” from the movie “Frozen”.”

The Midyette Family shares their Primrose experience:

“Prior to our relocation to GA last year, we visited various schools in the area.  It is clear that Primrose School of Dunwoody was the best choice, as we observe our girls thrive in the caring hands of attentive teachers and in the fun company of classmates.  Our girls are happy and eager to go to school in the morning and not always ready to leave when we pick them up.
They love their teachers!  It has been great to get to know some lovely Primrose families too.  We believe that a strong early childhood education is fundamental to a successful and meaningful adult life.  Thank you Primrose!”

Congratulations to the Midyette family!
