Georgia Connections Academy enrollment opens, Information Session coming

Georgia Connections Academy, a statewide provider of high-quality, highly accountable virtual K-12 schooling, has opened enrollment for the 2014-2015 school year and will be conducting in person information sessions with parents and students across the state, beginning March 10.

“We are enrolling 1000 additional students across all grade levels for the coming academic year,” said Lead Principal Heather J. Robinson. “We have a waiting list as we open enrollment, so we encourage parents to get their applications in now.”

Enrollment topped 3,000 students at Georgia Connections Academy for the 2013-2014 year and is expected to expand by another 1000 K-12 students for the coming academic year. Parents can enroll their child online at:

Georgia Connections Academy will host free parent information sessions to answer parent and student requests for information about the virtual school program, starting Monday, March 10 at the Hampton Inn Atlanta-Perimeter Center, 769 Hammond Dr. NE, in Atlanta. The information sessions review the school’s curriculum, programs and provide opportunities to ask questions of teachers and currently enrolled families.
