Community Corner

Dunwoody At Dusk

Dunwoody Village to host the last Dunwoody At Dusk (9/20) September means the end of lazy summer days and the return of busy, back-to-school schedules. Over the summer months, Dunwoody at Dusk quickly became a favorite event among residents and businesses alike. Families were able to enjoy a Friday night out in their community and businesses were able to showcase their establishments with great specials, live entertainment, and discounts.

For a final farewell to the summer season all are invited to the last Dunwoody At Dusk to take place at the Dunwoody Village shopping center on Friday, September 20, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Jump-start the new school year with specials and discounts from Taggart’s Driving School and Eye Level Learning Center. Purple Hippo Art Studio and Cutie Pies Children’s Boutique will have activities and gifts for kids, while Dentistry for Children brings back the famous Tooth Fairy for autographs and pictures! Try a new fitness routine with specials from Curves, Pure Barre and Blast900, or learn the art of Martial Arts with demonstrations from Kaikudo Martial Arts Academy. Get a sneak-peek of two new Dunwoody restaurants with food samples and coupons from Mojo Burrito and FirstWatch-The Daytime Café and satisfy your sweet tooth at Bruster’s Ice Cream. A surprise is in store as Marlow’s Tavern’s dunk tank will allow you to soak a “Special Guest” while benefitting the “No Kid Hungry” campaign. And make sure to gather a group of friends to inspire your inner artists and attend the Canvas by U painting class immediately following Dunwoody At Dusk.
