Prevent a Crime at Home by Thinking Like a Burglar

In this weeks tip we talk about the importance of making sure that yard signs and window decals are upfront and noticeable around your home.  A study found that nearly all convicted burglars interviewed (9 out of 10) admitted that they would avoid homes with alarm systems.  If a potential burglar sees a security yard sign or window decal outside of a home they may think twice about breaking into that home.  So it is very important that your yard signs are visible and not hidden by plants or other items in your yard.  It is also good idea to have them placed in the front and back of your house..
