Have You Wondered About These Poles?
There's a damaged utility pole and a separate pole with dangling signs at the exit ramp off I-285 West at North Peachtree Road in Dunwoody.
If you've driven off the exit ramp at I-285 West and North Peachtree Road, lately, you may have noticed a dangling sign on the ramp or the utility pole at the corner of the exit, in front of the Texaco gas station.
Joyce Briggs alerted Patch to the damaged utility pole which she reported to Georgia Power in August. It has since been anchored with support as a temporary fix.
A Georgia Power representative told Patch that the pole will be replaced eventually, but they have to wait for an appropriate time so there is no disruption of service for the customers who are currently drawing power from it.
A separate pole on the exit ramp from I-285 West to North Peachtree Road has dangling signs. On Friday, Dunwoody spokesperson Bob Mullen said a ticket would be submitted to Public Works to fix it.
