DeKalb to Hold Input Meeting on Transportation Plan

Rail is being considered in some areas; roadways in other places; and trails in Dunwoody.

DeKalb County is seeking public input on a transportation plan that includes Dunwoody trails.

According to the DeKalb County 2014 Transportation Plan website, the plan is a multimodal plan that will identify transportation needs for transit, motorists, bicyclists, pedestrians, trucks, trains, and airplanes.

A public meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Interactive College of Technology, Roberts Hall, 5227 New Peachtree Road, Chamblee. There's also an online meeting Nov. 14 at 6:30 p.m. at www.dekalbtransportationplan2014.com.

For more details and to see a map of the project study area visit the DeKalb County 2014 Transportation Plan website.
